Mixed martial arts athletes are understudied and not highly represented within sport and performance psychology research. The purpose of this qualitative exploratory single person descriptive case study was to develop an athlete profile of a simultaneous dual weight class champion, or Champ Champ, to gain a further understanding of this type of unique athlete. This type of study had not been conducted previously and will present a limited understanding of this class of athletes. The study was meant to create a baseline that could later be compared to other individuals who have reached this accomplishment or other athletes outside of combat sports who have achieved the elite level in multiple sports or disciplines. This study included one such athlete and five individuals who have surrounded them throughout their career. Each participant participated in a semi-structured open-ended interview with the primary researcher. This study resulted in a baseline understanding of the athlete's qualities and provided recommendations for the practical application for sport psychology professionals, mixed martial arts organizations and athletes, and potential future research. The athlete profile consisted of multiple internal motivational characteristics and suggestions for how this understanding can benefit others in and out of combat sports
