Edited by curator Katy Wan and including essays from Vince Aletti, David Campany, and Wan, the book gives particular attention to his pivotal relationships with photographers.. The authors address Brodovitch's impact on photography as an artistic medium in the mid-20th century and explore how European art and design became the foundation of a new American print culture.
